A 33-year-old man has been arrested as part of an investigation into the sexual assault of a youth, Niagara police said Tuesday.
On Saturday, Dec. 19, a youth, who police are only identifying as younger than 15, was sexually assaulted after a suspect broke into a home, investigators said. The incident allegedly took place in the area of Wall and Four Mile Creek roads, at around 11:20 p.m., in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Nicholas B. Morinello, of Niagara Falls, was arrested and charged with three offences related to sexual assault and breaking and entering.
The charges have not been tested in court.
