A driver extricated from an SUV following a crash in North York has been rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The crash occurred near Weston Road and Fenmar Drive at around 2:40 a.m.
Police said an SUV collided with a construction vehicle in the area and the male driver of the SUV was initially trapped.
The victim was removed from the vehicle and taken to hospital via emergency run.
The driver of the construction vehicle also received treatment in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Weston Road is closed in both directions between Fenmar Drive and Toryork Drive for the police investigation.
