Portions of the TTC’s Line 1 and 2 and the GO’s Lakeshore West line will be down this weekend for track work and construction.
Line 1 closure
There will be full weekend closure between Finch and Eglinton stations to make way for track work, the TTC says.
The stations will be open but at York Mills, Sheppard-Yonge, and Lawrence the turnstiles where customers can usually tap their Presto cards will be disabled.
Line 2 closure
Subway trains will also not be running between Kennedy and Warden stations this weekend. All impacted stations will be open for customers to purchase Presto fares, tickets, and to connect to surface routes.
The TTC says a frequent shuttle bus service will run during the closures.
Lakeshore West
On GO Transit, there will be no train service on Lakeshore West between Oakville and Union Station. GO bus service is running only at Oakville, Clarkson, and Union stations.
There will be also no GO service at Port Credit, Long Branch, Mimico, or west from Exhibition.
Metrolinx says a special GO train will run between Union and Exhibition.
The Lakeshore West train will only run from Niagara Falls to Oakville.
