One person is dead after a fire broke out in North York, paramedics say.
Toronto Fire Services said the outdoor fire started behind a building near Eglinton and Victoria Park avenues and has since been extinguished.
Toronto Paramedic Services told that one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other details have been released.
Images from the scene show that a nearby wooded area has been blocked off with police tape as an investigation gets underway.
Fire Chief Jim Jessop is expected to provide an update at 7:30 a.m.
