York Regional Police are investigating two shootings that occurred in Vaughan early Friday morning.
The first shooting, police said, occurred in the area of Highway 27 and Langstaff Road. Reports from the scene suggest bullet holes are visible in the front door of a home on Camomile Street.
The suspects fled the scene prior to the arrival of officers, police said.
A second shooting occurred at around 5:50 a.m. in the area of Rutherford Road and Clarence Street.
No injuries were reported in either incident, police said.
Investigators have not released any suspect information at this time but say officers are in the area canvassing for witnesses.
It is not clear if police believe the two incidents are connected.
