No injuries were reported after a vehicle went into the water at Ashbridges Bay in Toronto’s east end early Wednesday morning.
According to police, a man drove down the boat ramp, located near Lake Shore Boulevard and Coxwell Avenue, at around 1 a.m.
Police said the driver was reportedly following his GPS when he made a turn and went down the ramp.
The driver managed to exit the vehicle and was not injured.
Police were first alerted to the incident by the driver, a spokesperson for the police service told CP24.
The traffic services unit is now investigating, police said.
