Command post set up for missing child last seen in Scarborough

Toronto police have set up a command post for a missing child who was last seen in Scarborough’s Oakridge neighbourhood.

Police said Firaol, 12, was last seen on Thursday at around 3:20 p.m. in the area of Pharmacy and Danforth avenues.

The child is described as five feet, two inches tall, with a thin build, short black hair, and brown eyes. They were last seen wearing a sweater, blue jeans, and a black jacket.

Police say they are concerned for the 12-year-old’s safety.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-4100, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477), or at www.222tips.com,” police said in a news release issued Friday.

A command post has been set up at Samuel Hearne Middle School, located near Pharmacy and Denton avenues.
