The Greater Toronto Area will be seeing a week of sunshine and a comeback of summer-like temperatures following a cool fall-front.
Environment Canada forecasts a week of sun with a touch of cloudy weather and light winds for the coming week.
Monday sees clear skies with a high of 24 C during the day, followed by temperatures cooling down to 14 C during the night.
On Tuesday, the conditions remain similar, with clear sunny skies holding at 24 C during the day and touching 14 C at night.
Wednesday sees an increase in summer-like temperatures, with a high of 26 C during the clear, dipping to 16 C during the night. Residents will see “mainly sunny skies and light winds,” according to CP24 meteorologist Bill Coulter.
Residents will experience peak summer conditions during Thursday, when the temperature rises to a warm 28 C during the day and dips to a cool 14 C at night.
Friday will bring a slight chill with a mix of sun and cloud forecasted during the day reaching 22 C and dipping to a low 9 C at night.
Temperatures will continue to dip through the weekend, with Saturday seeing 19 C during the day and 10 C during the night. Sunday will see 17 C during the day, the weather agency said.
“Sunday gives us increasing clouds with the risk of isolated showers and a gusty wind,” Coulter said. “Active weather is expected for late Sunday and Monday with temperatures rebounding to seasonable.”
The typical daytime high at this time of year is 21 C.
