As parents get older, their safety becomes a growing concern for their children – especially if they’re dealing with memory loss through dementia or Alzheimer’s.

As wandering and disorientations are common symptoms, a missed phone call or unfamiliar detour can turn into an emergency.

That’s why some adult children are turning to location-sharing apps like Life360. This and other apps are being increasingly used to allow families to keep tabs on each other in real time, using GPS tracking, location history and alerts when someone leaves or arrives at a specific place, helping families stay connected.
