Toronto’s first fall weekend of 2025 filled with warmth and sunshine

Must read

The rain has cleared, and Toronto’s first fall weekend of the year is set to be filled with sunshine and seasonably warm temperatures.

Meteorologist Bill Coulter said Friday. “After a very soggy start to the week, the complex of low-pressure systems has moved east. High pressure has moved in. And the warm air is hanging in.”

Friday’s forecast is calling for a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 24 C after Thursday night rain. The normal high for this time of year is 18.8 C and it will feel closer to 26 and 28 due to the humidity. Skies will be mainly clear tonight with a brisk low of 16 C (normal low for this date is 7.6 C).

The warmth and sunshine will stick around on Saturday and Sunday, when the temperature will reach 24 C and 25 C, respectively.

“What a fantastic forecast to encourage outdoor fun this weekend. Mainly sunny to partly cloudy skies will hold right through the long-range forecast. The weekend and first few days of next week look very pleasant with sunshine and seasonably warm temps,” Coulter said.

The temperature pulls back on Wednesday, when the mercury drops to 17 C, amid clouds and cooler breeze. Thursday’s forecast is calling for a high of 18 C.
