Toronto to see double-digit daytime high on Thursday

Toronto is expected to see its daytime high hit double digits on Thursday but the unseasonably mild weather will come to an end tomorrow.

Environment Canada says Toronto will see a mix of sun and cloud on Thursday with a high of 10 C, about nine degrees warmer than normal for this time of year.

Rain overnight will shift to flurries and by Friday afternoon, Toronto residents will see an abrupt change in temperature. The national weather agency is calling for a high of -1 C but it will feel closer to -12 in the afternoon when factoring in the wind chill.

Seasonal highs will continue all the way until Christmas Eve.

Environment Canada says the city will a chance of flurries and a high of 1 C on Saturday. On Sunday, sunshine and flurries are also possible with a high of -2 C.

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will see daytime highs of -1 C, 2 C, and 0 C on each day respectively.
