Toronto police are investigating following two late night stabbings in the city.
The first stabbing happened just after 9:30 p.m. in the area of Spencer and Cowan avenues near King Street West.
Police said officers responded to reports of a male that had been stabbed, and found the male suffering stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and a suspect was arrested.
The second happened about an hour later, just before 10:30 p.m., in the York neighbourhood of Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue.
Officers once again responded to reports that a male had been stabbed and located a male suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said a male suspect fled the scene prior to their arrival. No suspect description is available and the investigation is ongoing.
