A man has been seriously injured after a hit-and-run in Brampton early Saturday morning.
Officials from Peel Police tell emergency crews were called to the area of Charolais Boulevard and Pearson Road at around 2:30 a.m. for reports of a “motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.”
When crews arrived, they located the adult victim who was transported to a trauma center with non life threatening injuries
Officials say the vehicle did not remain on scene and that the 22 Criminal investigation bureau has taken carriage of the investigation.
Police have not released suspect or vehicle details but are “canvassing the area of video footage and witness information.”
Anyone with information is asked to come forward. CP24
