3 People rushed to hospital after vehicle flips in Downtown Toronto crash

Toronto police say they are investigating after a vehicle flipped over leaving three people injured in the downtown core early Sunday morning.

In a post to social media, officials say officers responded to the area of Adelaide Street and Portland Street just before 2 a.m. and found several vehicles damaged.

Police say the driver of the flipped vehicle was taken into custody.

Three patients were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

As of Sunday morning, several road closures remain in place for the investigation. Southbound Spadina Avenue is closed at Front Street West, westbound Adelaide Street is closed at Fort York Boulevard and Brunel Court, and eastbound traffic is closed at Spadina Avenue and Bremner Boulevard
